One of the leading causes of industrial fires is the improper storage and handling of flammable liquids. The Justrite Standard Sure-Grip® EX Flammable Safety Cabinet with Self-Close Doors is designed to safely store flammable liquids.

• This model is constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall, with 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space for fire resistance.
• The fully welded, not riveted, construction holds the squareness of the unit for a longer life and offers greater protection in a fire since air gaps are reduced.
• High-performance, self-closing doors open to 140 degrees.
• A patented, concealed self-close mechanism provides obstruction-free access to shelf space.
• The doors self-index to guarantee they will close in tight sequence.
• Continuous piano hinges ensure the doors close smoothly every time.
• When used properly as designed, safety cabinets with self-closing doors shut automatically in case of a fire. The self-closing doors, under tension, are held open by using fusible links.
• Under fire conditions, when the ambient temperature reaches 165 F (74 C), the links melt and the safety cabinet’s self-closing doors automatically swing shut.
• The self-latching system engages with three stainless steel bullet-slams located at the top, bottom, and center locations of the door.
• For added security, each cabinet comes with an innovative U-Loc™ handle that does not require manual rotation to engage the mandatory latch. Cabinets include a cylinder lock and key set, or you can choose to use your own padlock.
• Trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels that read “FLAMMABLE – KEEP FIRE AWAY” are highly visible under fire conditions or during power outages when illuminated with a flashlight.
• The cabinet also features dual vents with flame arresters, four adjustable self-leveling feet, and a built-in grounding connector.
